I: Write questions you would use to interview a community member for an oral history. You may not have the time to conduct your interview; however, your interview needs to be prepared to fill an hour (approximately 20-30 questions). Make sure your questions are open ended and provide opportunity for asking additional probing questions.
Part II: In addition to preparing questions, you will need to consider how to approach the interview, both respectfully and ethically. In 500-750 words explain the following:
How would you respectfully engage with the community you are researching, given what you know about the community? Give specific examples. (150-250 words)
What legal forms would you need to fill out if you were preserving this oral history? How do legal forms fall under ethical practice? (150-200 words)
A minimum of three scholarly/historical resources are required.
