Prompt: Baltimore Sewage
Throughout this Module, you have learned about the history, current state and ways to fix sewage crises around the world, with a collective focus on Baltimore. Here, you will critically analyze this problem and develop interdisciplinary solutions that involve the general public to increase the speed to action to alleviate many of these problems harming the health of the Bay and surrounding community. While the Headworks Project is a major step forward, will still be the issue of around 20% current Baltimore sewage overflows occurring.
Task: Baltimore Sewage
For this assignment, you will compose a 2-part essay will require you to incorporate the information from both discussion boards (and possibly additional research) to discuss the Baltimore Sewage Crisis and ways that scientist, professional, and local citizen involvement can most drastically improve the effects of this issue in a timely manner.
Part 1: Environmental Problem Summary. A short (250-500 words) overview of the history and environmental impacts of the issues. This should be geared towards the general public and familiarize the reader with the problem you plan to address.

Part 2: Solutions Analysis. A 2-page analysis describing the challenges faced and/or ways you can contribute to resolving the environmental sustainability
This essay should be accomplished by combining the information acquired during research for the environmental problem summary, the discussion board information, and your own experiences (e.g. other classes). You may incorporate discussion board posts as short quotes or paraphrased. At least 3 disciplines should be incorporated into a solution (e.g. science, education and political science) along with the local community.
Even though the essay is short, they should each have three basic components:
An introduction which clearly states and addresses the goal or topic of the paper.
A body that develops this goal, with one argument/idea per paragraph.
A conclusion that should refer back to the goal and provide a summary of the essay.
