Imagine a futuristic world in which the need for sleep has been eliminated. Imagine that you can now take a pill that will allow you to stay awake 24/7, permanently, with no negative effects on health, memory, reaction time, etc. Provide your thoughts on what impact this would have:

On you personally

On childhood, adolescence and adulthood

On relationships (family, friendships, romantic relationships)

On whether YOU would take the pill or not, and why

I don’t know how to handle this History question and need guidance.

You must have at least 7 sources for this (be VERY careful about internet sources). Be sure to have a thesis you are arguing all the way through.

Papers must be 12 font, Times New Roman, justified margins, title page, Chicago Style, all work cited, 8-10 pages.

Do not attempt to plagiarize this as it will be run through a plagiarism check system.

Note: For formatting purposes sample proposal is attached. Further note that for this assignment, I am requiring that you must follow the Chicago footnote/bibliography citation protocols as this is the standard for the history program…no endnotes.helpe withe two simple reading questions

Read “What You Eat Is Your Business” by Radley Balko on pages 651 to 655 of They Say, I Say and answer questions 1 and 4

1. What does Radley Balko claim in this essay? How do you

know? What position is he responding to? Cite examples

from the text to support your answer.

4. Balko makes his own position about the so-called obesity

crisis very clear, but does he consider any of the objections

that might be offered to his position? If so, how does he deal

with those objections? If not, what objections might he have

raised?.

Help me study for my English class. I’m stuck and don’t understand.

As a change of pace surrounding the readings on our nation’s food and dietary habits, this week’s discussion deals with another issue currently causing controversy in our society. As you’ll soon discover, I like to select random topics to discuss for our posts. The purpose of this is for you to practice developing an argument and defend your views.

Directions:

Respond to the following discussion post in at least one paragraph. Please respond to at least one of your classmates’ posts. In your response, address your classmate by name and point to something that he/she wrote that got your attention. You may agree or disagree with your classmate but you must always do so in a respectful manner.

Is social media making people too narcisstic? Are people spending too much time attempting to appear attractive or interesting to others? Consider the amount of selfies some individuals take and then post on Instagram or Facebook, for instance. What do you believe lies behind this preoccupation with self-image? Is social media becoming a problem for our society? Why or why not? Take a stand and make a brief argument in which you provide reasons (or evidence) to support the way you feel. Don’t forget to respond to one of your classmates’ posts!
