You are asked to compose a character analysis for your final project. This assignment is worth 50 points and is to be completed in an APA format. I do not accept late work. Refer to your syllabus regarding my policy on late assignments.The length of the paper is up to you but needs to cover the following: A character (real or fictional), two psychological concepts, and an application of these concepts to the character’s mental processes. If you recall the definition of psychology is the study of mental processes used to explain an individual’s behavior. In essence this is the goal of your paper. To take two psychological concepts and use them to explain the mental processes associated with an individual’s behavior.
A character analysis gives you the student the opportunity to prove to me, the instructor that you can apply the concepts of psychology. How you ever observed an individual and thought “what were they thinking or feeling that would cause them to behave in that way?” This paper gives you that opportunity to use concepts in psychology grounded in research to do just that. The content of the character analysis is as follows:
1. Introduce the character. Your character can be real or fictional. If real and not you, remember to change their name for purposes of protection. If fictional, include a citation. Include a discussion regarding this character’s thinking or feeling and behaviors.
2. Introduce two psychological concepts that we have covered in the first half of the semester (chapters 7 – 13). Use information found in your text,
