Joined by editor-in-chief of Vogue magazine Anna Wintour, Bolton takes the viewer through the stages of museum curatorship.
3. Netflix, Made You Look: A True Story About Fake Art (90 minutes): Filmmaker Barry Avrich chronicles the events of the largest art fraud in American history, when Knoedler & Company unwittingly purchased and sold fake works by famed artists like Jackson Pollock.
4. Netflix, This Is a Robbery: The World’s Biggest Art Heist (4 hours): In 1980, two thieves steal multiple works of art from Boston’s Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. Those guilty have yet to be found.
After watching ONE of the above, you will write a short reflection paper summarizing the chosen documentary and your thoughts on the events that transpired. What did it teach you about the contemporary art world? The paper should be 2-3 pages, double-spaced, Times New Roman, 12pt font.
