I need a letter that is addressed to a company. The letter is going to be about the annual review for employee and about salary raise with some point that will be addressed to employer. I am writing this letter because I did not get my annual review. Some people get it twice I did not get even one. I do not think this is a right time to schedule a review that is why I decided to write a letter. I reschedule my review twice and you never asked me why, but that is fine, so
1. I need to switch my part time position to a full time, anyway I am working more than 35- 37 hours a week which is considered as a full time. So, it means even you did not offer me a full time position saying that it is a client responsibility and I have a time issue, but anyway I am working full time starting from the first day of my part time position but I am not getting my benefits as a full time employee for example medical coverage.
2. I believe I need be paid more than I am getting right now, I think it would be fair to match up with what the market is telling (and market is telling 70-75 a year, )and with the employee that have a same experience as me. I know that I am learning but everyone is learning. I know that I will do mistakes and learn from it. I will ask questions to get better. That is all normal process.I want to mention that I am pursuing my masters and I also believe that you will give me an opportunity to grow because last 6 months I had a feeling that I stock somewhere and not having a progress until someone left and I finally get an chance to show that I am able to do more. It is not fair. I want to thank you for teaching me the real work process. Universities are teaching the concept, but how to make it work I learned from you.
4. I know one of the partners was not happy when I write an email to you asking for an offer she said that it was ‘too formal” but I think that how it is suppose to be formal because we are all professionals and we need to act as professional.
5. I have heard many times that I need a confidence. I do not have any problem with my confidence. My confidence vanished when you treated me the way that you should not. For example without training me properly you expected the things to be done with 100% accuracy, when some of your staff wanted to train me I got distracted and eventually ended up with the project throw on me which I need to get done. By the way, I was able to complete them even with less help or no help at all. I have learned from it too. Now, I am sharing what I have learned with other people who are new and they do not know the external rules and I am happy to do that.
