Hi. This may be a strange assignment. So, this is the fourth part of a four-part research proposal. Attached are the three other parts of the assignment, along with some textbook chapter powerpoints that may help when researching. The topic is the Analysis and Critic of Capital Punishment. The instructions from my instructor about this specific assignment are below, along with his comments about the attached documents.
APA format,
He said the length is less important than the quality.
Instructions – “You will submit your analytical plan including the major statistical techniques that you are going to use to analyze the relationship among your variables. You can also talk about your expected findings and explain how you predict changes of one independent variable may change the dependent variable.”
Comments from the submitted works: 1) “You have provided good information. However you need to revise your research question. Now, your question is a yes/no question. In order to do your proposal you need to ask about a causal relationship between two or more variables. You can investigate the effect of public opinion on brutality of the death penalty and their attitudes toward anternative punishment.”
2) “You need to include more scholarly works in the lit review. Also, the lit review should be more organized. You need to use subheadings to separate different parts of the review.”
3) “The variables are not identified. What is the dependent variable? What factors are assumed to affect it?”
