Learning Goal: I’m working on a management question and need guidance to help me learn.The purpose of this assignment is:To allow students an opportunity to learn about tourism destinations in the world

To provide students with experience in working as groups, for their oral presentation
Instructions:International Tourism (Among the most popular tourist destinations)Each group is required to choose one of the tourism destination cities in the world.
On an assigned date, the selected group is expected to present the tourism destination in the world, including the following information (but not limited to):
Discuss tourism in that country in general. Include data on tourist arrivals if possible and other general information about tourism
Describe tourism in a specific city you chose in general
Describe Major attractions in that city
Discuss at least two main issues affecting tourism in that city at present.Explain these two main issues
In what ways do the issues affect travel to the city or traveling within the city
What are the positive implications of the issue for tourism?
What are the negative implications of the issue for tourism?

Instructions for the oral report:“Being creative in planning and implementing their oral presentations.” Your team will be required to make an oral presentation as a group. The presentation must be 20 minutes in length. Your team will be evaluated by the Instructor according to 6 different criteria. Each of the criteria will be rated from 0 to 20 (strongly disagree to strongly agree)(see details in Rubrics). The evaluation criteria for the orals are attached. You should note that they are different. Study these carefully when planning your oral presentation.Make use of the audio-visual materials and equipment available, i.e., overhead projector, slide projector, VCR and television, flip chart/stand, themselves (dressing up in some form of costume), signs/charts/posters, music/audiotape players.
The group should present it using a variety of photos or video clips.
This is NOT a travel guide, so don’t use brochure-like language or promotional journalism. It is a fact-finding exploration and academic assessment.
Each group will have 20 minutes for the presentation in class on the assigned date and need to use PowerPoint presentations.
