Instructions
As you think about a teaching career, there are many aspects and issues regarding education and teaching that will become a part of your own personal philosophy. As you progress through the teacher education program, that personal philosophy will adjust and change based on experiences, both professionally and personally.
In 4 pages articulate a personal philosophy of education and teaching, i.e. what are your personal philosophy, opinions, and views of the teaching profession and education’s role in society.
Please see Philosophy of Education/Teaching Essay Worksheet with guidelines and suggestions on articulating your own personal philosophy. You will notice that there are 6 specific components/areas to address.
NOTE: It is highly recommended that you have at least 1 paragraph for each of the 6 components/areas.
