I’m studying for my English class and don’t understand how to answer this. Can you help me study?
This is the HW:
1. Similar to race, gender is also examined as a social construction by sociologists. Gender is also sometimes discussed as “fluid” and not “fixed.” To better understand both of these ideas listen to the podcast Invisibilia: “The Power of Categories” at http://www.npr.org/programs/invisibilia/384065938/the-power-of-categories .
2. Listen to the “Introduction” and “Paige’s Story.” Paige identifies herself as sometimes being in “male mode” and at other times in “female mode.” Paige does not identify as transgender but as someone who is in “control of her identity.”
a. Knowing this, identify three ways Paige’s identity is socially constructed.
b. What do you make of Paige’s ability to change her posture and behavior as she goes between “female mode” and “male mode”?
3. The text discusses the key concept of “doing gender” locate and review this chapter section, then read the seminal article WestZimmerman_1987_DoingGender.pdf
West and Zimmerman are credited with describing gender as not only something someone has (an identity) but also as something that is always done in interaction with others.
a. After reading this article, what ways have you either participated in “doing gender” or describe how you have seen others “doing gender” today?Answer Question to a video

Submit a Kaltura video of yourself discussing the client from the perspective of feminist theory. Your video should be no longer than 5 minutes.
Although this is a professional presentation, it is not a formal presentation as in a speech. Imagine that you are discussing your case with a group of peers in a meeting. To verbally present a case can be challenging—but it is also a skill for which practice can relieve anxiety and result in improvement. This will give you an opportunity to practice how to deliver material in a professional manner. You can have notes in front of you to help you remember your points. However, your video does need to be professional. In other words, dress professionally, maintain eye contact as if you were speaking in front of your colleagues, and finally be sure to record yourself in a room that is quiet and where no one interrupts you.
Your video presentation should include the following:
In 1 to 2 sentences, identify and describe the problem to be worked on in your chosen case study. In 1 to 2 sentences, explain how feminist theory you are utilizing defines and explains the cause of the problem. In 1 to 2 sentences, use feminist theory to describe the role of the social worker to facilitate change in the case study. In the assessment phase, identify 2 assessment questions you will ask to explore what the client’s goals are and how they will get there.
Remember, feminist theory should be driving the assessment.
Describe two interventions to address the problem and explain how the clients will implement the interventions.
Remember, feminist theory should be driving the interventions.
In 2 to 3 sentences, discuss how you would evaluate if one of the interventions you identified is effective with the client. Explain how, specifically, you will set the tone throughout your work with the client to reduce the hierarchical relationship and make it more collaborative. Evaluate one strength and one limitation of feminist theory in working with the client.2 pages task

1. Prompt Assignment: Please read the selection below and complete the “PROMPT” Assignment with complete sentences. Failure to follow directions will result in forfeiture of points.
PROMPT: Tolman claimed that everything important in psychology could be studied using laboratory rats. Do you agree or disagree? Justify your response (5 or more sentences). See pg. 289-290
Explain what Tolman meant by his statement below using 5 or more complete sentences., “The Use of Rats”.
Study Notes: The Use of Rats (See p. 289-290)
Some may think it strange for a cognitive theorist to use rats as experimental subjects, but Tolman had a special fondness for them. He stimulated the use of rats in psychological experiments at the University of California, and he dedicated his 1932 book to the white rat. Throughout Tolman’s writings, one finds humor and wit, as exemplified by his following thoughts on the use of rats as experimental subjects:
Let it be noted that rats live in cages; they do not go on binges the night before one has planned an experiment; they do not kill each other off in wars; they do not invent engines of destruction, and if they did, they would not be so inept about controlling such engines; they do not go in for either class conflicts or race conflicts; they avoid politics, economics, and papers on psychology. They are marvelous, pure, and delightful. (1945, p. 166). I believe that everything important in psychology (except perhaps such matters as the building up of a super-ego, that is, everything save such matters as involve society and words) can be investigated in essence through the continued experimental and theoretical analysis of the determiners of rat behavior at a choice-point in a maze. Herein I believe I agree with Professor Hull and also with Professor Thorndike. (p. 34).2 essay about The villa, the Greek medical: nursing assignment help
I’m trying to learn for my English class and I’m stuck. Can you help?
I want to write an essay regarding the following two questions:
The villa, to the ancient Romans, was more than an abode. Its function cannot be separated from the way they viewed leisure and public life. Discuss with reference to the primary sources available to us from ancient Rome. How did the Greek medical tradition reach the Arab/Islamic world? Describe the process and identify the potential reasons for the interest in medicine and translation.
