Using Erickson’s Theory of Psychosocial Development, interpret your personality and evaluate your personality development. View yourself through the eyes of Erickson’s Theory and summarize how Erickson would explain your personality. Be sure to give personal examples for each stage.

Erickson’s stages can be found in your text. To further research googling Erickson’s psychosocial stages of development will give you thousands of hits.
Even though you may not be at the later stages of Erickson’s theory, please mention all eight stages. Use your current situation to predict how your personality will continue to develop and how you believe you will move through the stages.
8 STAGES:
Trust vs Mistrust applied self
Autonomy vs Shame applied to self
Initiative vs Guild applied to self
Industry vs Inferiority applied to self
Identity vs Role Confusion applied to self
Intimacy vs Isolation applied to self
Generativity vs Stagnation applied to self
Integrity vs Despair applied to self
Make sure you include meaning of each criteria and an self example
Here is an example paragraph using the last stage of Erickson’s theory:
In Erickson’s final stage he theorizes that an individual either reaches a place of Ego Integrity, belief that life has been meaningful, or Despair, life has not been meaningful. Although I have not reached the final stage of Ego Integrity Verses Despair, I can predict that Ego Integrity will be achieved. This is because my life is highly focused on caring for not only myself, but also others. Time is put aside to ensure my children, career, and community is well cared for. A strong belief that when I am in my final days I will be able to look back on my life and see that I have done everything I could to maintain happiness and reduce regrets is also indicative of reaching Ego Integrity. (Do not cut and paste this example into your paper)
NOTE:
Papers need to be in MLA formatting. Please make sure to have an opening paragraph and a closing paragraph. Because I am asking you to write about YOUR personality, you may use I in your writing. However, try not to start every sentence with I.
