TOPIC: Welcome to the Week 12 discussion. Shakespeare’s sonnets can be pretty complicated–not least because they are written in 17th-century English! In Sonnet 73, he uses images of the season Fall (Autumn), twilight, and a dying fire. What senses (sight/touch/taste/smell/hearing) do these images cause you to experience in your mind, and–a harder question–how are these sense experiences related to what the poem communicates?
