I’m trying to study for my Social Science course and I need some help to understand this question.

The following resources and lesson will be focused on the Texas Evaluation System (T-TESS ) for teachers in the state of Texas. Teacher candidates are required to learn about the purpose of T-TESS, the Indicators, and how the tool is used. Below is a video overview that explains the evaluation system. Then there are 3 short videos that explain 3 dimensions that we will be using for our assignment this week.

Assignment:

After our class meeting, watch the videos above and review the T-TESS rubric, watch ONE of the teaching videos below and use the T-TESS rubric to rate the teacher’s lesson using Dimensions 1.4, 2.4, and 3.1. You may choose one of the following videos to assess:

Use the T-TESS rubric above to assess the teacher’s performance based on the rubric. You will need to justify your reasons using the rubric.

Follow these steps:

1) Review the rubric for the indicators 1.4, 2.4, and 3.1. As you are watching the teaching video take notes about the lesson, the classroom environment, and student engagement.

2) Rate the teacher’s performance as Proficient, Accomplished, Developing, etc., based on the rubric criteria for EACH dimension (1.4, 2.4, and 3.1).

3) Create a Word doc to provide your ratings for each dimension, type up your justifications (based on your notes and the rubric) for EACH of the 3 dimensions.

4) Upload your Word doc with ratings and justifications in the T-TESS Assignment area in this module.

For this discussion board, evaluate the following argument:
Animals are not our friends, they are our food. This is because animals are not as intelligent as humans are, and thus don’t deserve the rights that humans have. My uncle, an electrician, told me that in order to be optimally healthy, I should eat at least 1-2 chickens a day. I think that if a cow had the chance to eat a person, it would, so why feel bad if you eat a hamburger? Human beings are at the top of the food chain, and because of this, we should do what we please to other animals. Lastly, my friend is vegan and she listens to Taylor Swift. Taylor Swift is the worst.

you have to response to this student paragraph (Premises are the statements given in an argument to help provide support and reasoning for the conclusion. In this specific argument, one of the premises states that because animals are not as intelligent as humans, we have the right to eat them. This statement is not based on credible facts more which means it is only an opinion. Another premise is since their uncle is an electrician, he recommended them to eat at least 1-2 chickens a day. There is no credibility that backs up what the electrician said. You shouldn’t feel bad eating meat because if the animal had the chance, they would eat you, is another premise in this argument because it is another statement that is used to back up the claim of this argument.

The conclusion to this argument is to have people think that humans are far more important than animals due to our rank of intelligence, therefore, we should not feel bad for eating animals because if they were in our position, they would do the same. The claims in this article are not reliable because they have no evidence backing them up.

5 Criteria for Evaluating Arguments:

1.Clarity: Animals are not as intelligent as humans are, therefore they don’t have the same rights.

2.Credibility: This argument is not credible due to it being only based on opinions.

3.Relevance- Mostly everything is relevant expect the statement about Taylor Swift.

4.Completeness- The beginning of the paragraph has nothing to do with the end conclusion.

5. Soundness- No, the premises in this argument are based on opinions and they do not support the conclusion.)

This is a very simple assignment related to government. All the instructions are mentioned in the file attached below. You just have to answer the questions using the sources and the chart given. SOCIAL IDENTITY AND DEVELOPMENT PAPER GUIDELINES

Please relax, take a deep breath and using a narrate form write this paper to describe the influence that systems of privilege and oppression may have or may not have had on one of your social identities and development. In particular, please demonstrate your understanding (three to four paragraphs) and ability to apply a theoretical models (Chickering, Marcia, Cross, Helm’s, Cass, Erikson, Levinson, Kohlberg, Gilligan, etc.) to one of your social identities and development in contemporary society. To organize your thoughts please answer the questions below to demonstrate your understanding and application of one of the above identity models to your current stage of development. The paper is limited to a total of ten pages and must include citations and a minimum of ten references.
