Web Systems Development
Midterm Exam
(this exam is worth 15% of your final grade)
You have invented a product that happens to start with the same first letter of your first name (i.e. Chris’s Center Consoles). You are ready to start selling your product, but your customers need a way to order them from your website.
ASSIGNMENT:
Please write a simple React app that contains an order form for your imaginary product. The product should have five options that the user will have to specify to submit their order. You decide on what the attribute names are, but they need to include the following:
1.    A text field that cannot be empty and must be at least 3 characters long
2.    A field that allows the user to select one of 5 options and must not be empty
3.    A field that is either yes / no
4.    An email address field that only accepts valid email
5.    A text field that only accepts numeric input
REQUIREMENTS:
•    The form should be centered horizontally and vertically on the page
•    Display a 300×300 pixel image at the top of the form. (The image doesn’t have to correspond to your product but will be more fun if it does.)
•    The form should check for valid input.
•    If invalid input is entered, the form should display relevant error messaging for the specified field(s)
•    Upon successful submission of the form, the displays should be written out to the console (via console.log())
•    Code should be formatted consistent with the default Prettier formatting rules. (hint: install prettier in Visual Studio Code and turn on ‘Format on Save’ in preferences)
NOTES:
The GitHub Classroom Assignment repository will start you off with a new Create-React-App that has Material UI, formik and yup installed. Remember to run npm install in the project root once you’ve cloned the repository.
