Students will work independently and develop a social media campaign to promote a health product,
service, or cause utilizing the concepts discussed in this class and is a culmination of their health
communication plan. The goals of this exercise are to analyze the strategic components of an effective
health media campaign, to critique sources of health information using theory and evidence from the
peer reviewed literature, and to identify a variety of health communication strategies, methods, and
techniques.
From your communication plan you will identify a strategy for conveying the information. You will
design a graphic display; pictogram, info graph, poster, web page, press release, fact sheet, social
media posts, etc. that incorporates the principles discussed throughout the course. You will select what
type of strategy your plan utilizes to best reach the audience you target. Each medium submitted
should be explained and analyzed using the principles discussed in the class.
Your task is to create a visual presentation of the content/ information from your health communication
plan. For inspiration on how to display your information look at government health websites, journals,
newspaper, other print materials, etc. You can create the display electronically and submit a copy of it,
create a three dimensional brochure, create a video, and submit in the display folder.
After creating the visual display, you will create an analysis of it and this will be in a CHART FORMAT
and should include the following information from your communication plan:
1. Identify who is GIVING the messaging – sponsor agency
2.Visually depict the three key messages as a visual image, graphic, chart, data, etc.
3. Identify two benefits of following the messages; i.e.; recommendations, health behaviors,
Prevention, treatment, etc.
4. Describe how you would analyze the effectiveness of your visual display. What are two
principles presented in the Nelson text or the Health Communication playbook.

Using that information in the chart and other resources and the rubric you create different chart. make sure you include the heading that is required. also for the display you can create an infographics. remember the topic is Grief

Your target audience is adults 24 and older. Yes your reading level is grade 3? I checked your key messages in MS Word, they are gr. 14;2. so maybe just keep what you have here for your social media posts. Which platform will you use? Tik tok. Instagram, Facebook? Add colorful images if you can. Also it looks like you have 5 references. but one is the handbook, and that is not about grief/ loss. Use the three files I attached please. this is the feed back i got for the chart that is already done so make sure you make sure you make these corrections.
