Strategic Innovation Whitepaper (strat-innov-whitepaper)
You are to create an internal-focused whitepaper (written to the leadership of your organization of choice) which identifies a driving trend (identified in Period One) and proposes a solution to overcome (if leading to a negative future) or advance (if leading to a positive future) that offers the leaders an argument for adoption of an innovation tied to your solution (a proposal). The whitepaper should include: 1) the problem, 2) scholarly support for the problem (strategic thinking and foresight), 3) a solution to the problem (the innovation), 4) benefits to the organization if adopted, and 5) identification of the negative consequences if not adopting the solution.
Your whitepaper should be 2000 words (+/- 10%).
You are also to create a PPT slide presentation of 8-10 slides that will accompany your whitepaper. The best PPT presentations use little text.
The purpose of this assignment is to gain the skills of problem-solving, innovation, and persuasion.
Consider that the product of this project will be used in Assignment Three.
