Still have a problem with Ty Campbell interfering with case management last week; I asked Ty to accompany me with my client Nina and her son Christopher to do an intake and Martin Court. I found out about a Martin Court had an opening through my direct supervisor Alexandria price I let Alexandra price know that I was interested I had a client her son will be interested in moving to Seattle. Alexandria reached out to the property manager the property manager reached out to me and we coordinated a time to meet Thai Campbell said she would accompany me with the clients just to be a support. I’m having the same problem again with Thai Campbell interfering with case management telling clients about housing opportunities that do not exist with Martin Court I spoke with Melissa yesterday about any openings Ty is telling Elena Mandy Christina that they are 10 openings in Tukwila which is not correct it’s Georgetown and there are not 10 openings they currently don’t have any openings you’re not even potential openings in Seattle once again she’s spreading false information to my clients and they also let me know that she’s telling them to give her their ID and Social Security card so when this housing comes available she can send Jami the case manager of the information. Once again Ty Campbell’s going behind case management back and not directing the clients to case management and leading case management let their clients know about a potential opportunity for housing is causing division and further harm to the clients at this village. I’ve had several conversations with Ty about interfering with case management and I’ve also had a conversation with her and the case manager Montez Thomas explaining to her can she stop interfering with case management she agreed and apologize but it keeps happening again. This is causing a further divide between case management and operations management I would like to work with operations with better clear boundaries.
On 6/14/22 at 5:19 PM in passing I spoke with Ty Campbell about house 39 Brandon Pickford and Amber about the information that she passed down to myself and Montez Thomas about their CPS visit with their baby and taking the baby offsite with Danielle and I asked Ty Campbell how does she know about this and how she spoke with India the CPS worker she said no she was telling case management and Montez explain to her if you are your staff is seeing this you need to speak with India because this case managers we can’t speak to what our eyes have senior ears have not heard you can’t pass the responsibility onto us this happened once before with a client and CPS you and other outside agencies had knowledge of what was going on with House 10 and you didn’t notify CPS you kept sweeping it under the rug. I just need clarity on what needs to be done in instances like this case management because clearly operations is passing the buck at their convenience to case management I have spoken with Montez and Montez has spoken with her about how to handle the situation who has worked for CPS.

In the process of helping my clients find housing I make sure the clients are participating which means they need to find at least five places and actively be looking so that they are invested in this process of finding a place so working with my clients I first make sure they have ID Social Security card income a job they’re receiving Social Security and then we evaluate what’s in their budget for housing a roll studio one bedroom if they have a voucher how much is a voucher for explaining the process and the portion they would have to pay so that this is a smooth transition for them a lot of my clients have anxiety and fear about living on their own and I tailor how I help my clients according to their individual needs but they have to participate in the housing search process because this is showing me that they’re vested in this process and it’s not 100% we on the case manager and if they’re receiving a voucher and make sure that they’re also working with a housing specialist if it’s Tacoma Housing Authority Pierce County Housing Authority but also let them know they have to take the responsibility to make phone calls and to be actively looking and if they don’t I can give them the resources housing list etc.
