Re-read all the  Real People, Real Researchitems in the textbook.
These can be found on pp. 22, 63, 92-93, 146, 158, 170, and 196.
Select a career/job position that sounds attractive and feasible for you.
Consult the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ Occupational Outlook Handbook:
Search for that position or as close as you can find, by typing in the box that says Search bls.gov.
Read the one-page screen that tells about what people in that position do, what the work environment is like, the annual pay, the education/preparation necessary, job outlook, and so on.

One page, double spaced, 12-point font, 1-inch margins all around, pages numbered, containing:
Name of the job or occupation and paste in the link from the website
Summarize and reflect in detail about what you find attractive, and unattractive, about this job position.  Why would you like, and not like, to do this work?
Include other relevant discussion points, such as its salary, where in the US the jobs are geographically located, would you need a master’s degree and are you willing/able to earn one, etc.
