This assessment task (Assessment Task 2 – Written Report) will only assess ULO2.

The percentage breakdown of each ULO across the four summative assessment tasks, and the overall percentage weighting of each ULO are specified in the following table. A weighting value in a row is the sum of percentages within that row. For example, ULO2 is assessed in Task 2 and Task 4 (10% and 25% respectively), and 35% of marks for this unit are available from ULO2.

Task 1. On-Premise System 
Based on the above requirements and costs, what is the total cost to build such an on-premise system with a lifetime of 3 years? You have the freedom to select devices from one or more suppliers/vendors such as Cisco, Dell, QNAP, or Synology (to name just a few), but you must meet the above minimum requirements, or just above.

Task 2. Azure System  
After completing Task 1, you should have a cost estimate to build and run QC’s on-premise system for 3 years.
How much would a very similar system cost if it was fully built in Microsoft Azure with a lifetime of 3 years? Create a similar table as in Task 1.

Task 3. AWS System  
After completing Task 2, you should have a cost estimate to build and run QC’s system in Azure for 3 years.
