What are three specific actions that health professionals can take regardless of their practice area and site to promote population and community health policies? Provide a specific example of how the rapid advances in technology and health system reform affect population health. How will you specifically update your knowledge and skills to respond to these changes?
Population and community health encompasses a wide range of topics. Some examples of popular topics includes age-related healthcare, tobacco and substance abuse, mental and behavioral health, and infectious diseases (“Top 10 Most Common Health Issues”, 2020). Health professionals can take specific actions, regardless of their area of focus, to promote population and community health policies. Those actions include: Identifying factors affecting health, such as geography, education, employment, local industries, transportation, and housing; Gaining access to health-related resources through programs, local community health centers, and social services programs; and improving health outcomes by identifying potential legislative opportunities, seeking financial opportunities, and involving community leaders in support of such programs (Guzys et al., 2017).
Rapid advances in technology and health system reform affect population health. Nursing workforce projections for the next decade forecast an unprecedented need for nurses to expand their roles in primary care (Institute of Medicine-IOM, 2010). The need for BSN-prepared nurses to care for rural and underserved persons in interprofessional, integrated primary care teams is well known (American Nurses Association, 2018, Japsen, 2015). National data documents increases in persons with chronic diseases and complex health care needs in community settings with limited access to care (Bodenheimer et al., 2017). Access to care is especially critical for the over 43 million persons with a mental health diagnosis in the United States—of whom more than half receive no care whatsoever (Mental Health America, 2018). In the past year, over 20 million adults in the United States had a substance use disorder and 7.9 million had both a mental health and a co-occurring substance use disorder (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration-SAMHSA, 2014).
One factor on the horizon on public health is that of transgender identity. There are significant disparities in this subpopulation that need to be addressed in future community healthcare initiatives. Those disparities include greater behavioral and socioeconomic differences, more exposure to infectious diseases like HIV, generalized poor health (Lagos et al., 2018).
I will continue to update my skills and knowledge in the area of community and public health by submitting to a journal geared towards the topic of public health; following current public health legislation on the local, state, and national levels; and continuing to work in the public and community health capacity in which I currently serve.

Class,
If you have you been involved with a company doing a redesign of business processes, discuss what went right during the redesign and what went wrong from your perspective. Additionally, provide a discussion on what could have been done better to minimize the risk of failure. If you have not yet been involved with a business process redesign, research a company that has recently completed one and discuss what went wrong, what went right, and how the company could have done a better job minimizing the risk of failure.
Your paper should meet the following requirements:
• Be approximately 2-4 pages in length, not including the required cover page and reference page.
• Follow APA6 guidelines. Your paper should include an introduction, a body with fully developed content, and a conclusion.
• Support your answers with the readings from the course and at least two scholarly journal articles to support your positions, claims, and observations, in addition to your textbook. The UC Library is a great place to find resources.
• Be clearly and well-written, concise, and logical, using excellent grammar and style techniques. You are being graded in part on the quality of your writing.Philosophy Journal: nursing essay help
I’m stuck on a Philosophy question and need an explanation.
The following is a journal entry a student submitted in a past semester. Note what makes this a good entry:
It is at least 150 words in length It is written clearly and understandably It shows evidence of thoughtfulness
“The design argument for God’s existence is interesting to me but I’m not sure I can fully endorse it. It argues that because there is design throughout the universe, there must be a universal designer, i.e., a god, in turn. However, when considering the endless probabilities and eons that our world has gone through, this argument is somewhat disproved. We know many different “designs” are merely adaptations, and often times we, as humans, tend to “see” a design when there is, in fact, none there (like seeing faces in electrical sockets). The design argument also does not account for entropy found in nature, and the general decline into disorder that can be found in many systems – surely a designer wouldn’t design that? Also, there are the many examples of natural disasters and tragedies that mar our world, and which place the idea of a designer in doubt. I like to relate this problem to what we read in the introduction to Philosophy Made Simple, about the Book of Job in the Bible. Even a believer in God such as Job had trouble understanding how a good and almighty God could be responsible for all the disorder happening in his own life. So again, while the design argument is interesting, I do see some problems with it, and how it could be challenged by a skeptic.”
Select any one of the following topics/questions to write about.
1. The theories of Thales and his contemporaries were “wrong;” yet they were nonetheless important in establishing the method of scientific/philosophical thinking. What are some features of this method, as we see it in the earliest philosophers?
2. The host of the video on the Presocratic philosophers, , Carl Sagan, takes a noticeably hostile position toward religion, implying that religion and science are inevitably enemies. Do you agree that the relationship between religion and science must be hostile? Does the progress of science mean the eclipse of religion? How might they be harmonized?
3. Did anything interest or surprise you particularly in the Carl Sagan video we watched on the first philosophers?
4. In the debate over permanence and change (Heraclitus vs. Parmenides), which point of view do you think is more nearly correct? Does everything change, or are there permanent features of the world?
5. Do you see any possible solutions to any of Zeno’s paradoxes?
6. The Presocratic philosophers believed that the way the world really is, is quite different than the way it appears. Can you think of any examples of the split between appearance and reality? What are some ways in which appearances are deceiving?
7. Write about any topic related to philosophy, inspired by your readings and the classes so far, or by your own experiences, thoughts, current events, etc.complete essay with all required.: assignment help online
I’m working on a English question and need guidance to help me study.
Purpose:
This essay assignment will allow you to location, evaluate, and synthesize information from sources representing diverse perspectives in order to construct an argument that follows the Toulmin Model of argument. The topic of the argument will be about Persona. You’ll write an argument answering this question: What steps do you think an individual should take to influence how others perceive them?
Skills:
The purpose of this assignment is to help you practice the following skills that are essential to your success in navigating arguments you’ll encounter in your academic, professional, and personal lives. In this assignment you will:
Demonstrate your understanding of the Toulmin Argument Avoid problems in logic through your argument Incorporate sources of value to you Understand the distinction between inductive, deductive, and analogical reasoning
Knowledge:
This assignment will also help you to become familiar with the following important content knowledge in critical thinking and reasoning:
That there are approaches to argument that contain specific elements that we can define That an argument gets into more nuanced depths than simply be “right” or “wrong”
Tasks:
To complete this assignment you should:
Before you start writing, think about the tools you use to communicate with others how you want to be perceived. Also think about how you want people to see you, and what you do to evoke that view. Where are there consistencies or contradictions? between the tools you use and your desires? On 3/11, in class, be sure to have a working draft, with at least what you see as your Grounds, Warrants, and Claims is for your paper. The grounds should be a text, something that can clearly be cited, which you’re responding to. As Karbach writes, “the grounds are the foundation of the argument,” and that foundation must be solid (82). The fact is established by a clear text. If you don’t have a specific text, you should have a very clear statement that has context, like the example on page 85. The statement is about people in a specific job (“waitresses”) under specific circumstances (“who make a dependable wage”) who are facing a specific challenge (“will be less likely to leave present employment”) and the claim is responding to that. Think about what specific grounds you have in your paper. You’re trying to write an argument that answers this question: What do you think has the biggest influence on how others perceive an individual? This is not a personal essay, though it might include personal narrative elements. One example might be something like this: “The biggest influence on perception is physical style, and how that’s presented in online spaces.” That is an inductive argument, moving from a specific tool to a much larger concept. Be aware of how your argument is Inductive, Deductive, or Analogical. In body paragraphs, makes points that help you elaborate on the statement you’ve made (the statement is your argument/thesis), defining what you’re using as your grounds, and what warrants you’re relying on to make the argument. Incorporate sources/evidence as needed and incorporate those in MLA format. Use at least three sources in your paper. Decide where Backing, Qualifiers, and Rebuttals are necessary, and incorporate those. In a conclusion, attempt to end in a different place than where you began, remembering that a paper is about a progression, where you move to a new place by the end of it, rather than merely restating the initial thesis. Cite all sources in a Work Cited page at the end of the paper Include a reflection at the end of the paper that answers these questions:
What motivated you to make this argument (another way to think about this might be: what is your exigence?) What do you see as strengths in the paper (give a specific example from what you’ve written)? What would you like specific feedback on? (Please do not say “my writing in general.”)If you have you been involved with a company doing a redesign of business processes, discuss what went right during the redesign and what went wrong from your perspective. Additionally, provide a discussion on what could have been done better to minimize
