For this Discussion, select one single item from the lists above or another similar item from our Sculpture reading that you have as a personal piece of sculpture. In other words, find one of the items above that you own (or have access to) and analyze it as a piece of sculpture. Ideally, you’ll want to analyze an item you have that is meaningful, pleasing and important to you.
Discuss the item by explaining what the item is (feel free to include a picture, if you like). Analyze the piece as a sculpture in regard to touch and medium, identify if it is practical or decorative, and explain whether the sculpture is art or craft.
Requirements:

Week 7 Discussion: Being a Leader for Your Project
As we learned in Week 6, your Project Sponsor informed you that you have to deliver your project much sooner than anticipated. When you break the news to your team, they are not happy with the decision for they are concerned that the project will now fail. Using the information that you learned from readings, what can you do as a leader to ensure your project team that this is the right thing to do? What will you do to motivate them?

Hello everyone,
After getting the news from the project sponsor, I would explain to them the possible repercussions of asking for the project early. The possible need of more dedicated personnel, additional cost, outsourcing work, and possible quality assurance issues, after they are informed I would gather my team. After hearing my teams concerns, I would ensure them that we will make the new deadline and that I have briefed the project sponsor of our needs to be able to deliver early. First we will have a brain storming session to identify issues and quick completion items. Second, we will establish a core project team to focus on the larger project and avoid multitasking of team members. Over time will be used as needed and we will fast track as many items as possible. Additional people and resources will be brought in to help in critical areas.
