1) Good afternoon everyone my name is Eva Gonzalez and I am excited to be taking another Child Development course. I am 34 years old and I am attending Victor Valley College in hopes of receiving my Associates in Liberal Arts and be able to transfer to a 4 year college/university and receive my Bachelors of Art in Education. My overall goal is to be an Elementary school teacher and be able to help Elementary level students understand the importance of an education and help motivate them in the right path. Aside from my educational goals, I am a very outgoing individual who loves to be positive regardless of any bad situation. I enjoy laughing and smiling everyday.
2) I am a person who loves to communicate and is eager to learn more of child development and how important my role as a future educator will be in a child’s life. I would love to learn more about a child’s developing mind and their thought process during their Elementary school years. I hope to gain more knowledge and understanding about child development and how school-aged children’s minds are programmed to learn in a environment with other children their age and other adults that are unfamiliar to them.
3) Along with many other topics under child development, I hope to learn the basic skills needed to become a great educator for all kids that cross my path.
