An organization represents a collection of individuals who work together towards common goals. It is very important that each member of an organization is aware of these goals and agrees to uphold the overall mission. When determining the goals for an organization it is important that they are feasible, ethical, and practical. Strategic plans should be implemented to ensure that these goals will be successfully achieved. The plans should clearly define a role for each member of the organization, and set them up in such a way that these roles have a cooperative effect. This way the individuals within the organization will collectively move forward in one cohesive direction, rather than pulling in different directions without making any real progress.
I work in a small shop that dispenses cannabis products to customers. One of the most important goals of my organization is to always serve the needs of our customers. I could execute a plan to increase my engagement with each customer. I will make an effort to be friendly and talk to each customer that comes in the shop, and note down any particular needs they might have. This will allow me to address those needs and meet the main goal of my organization.

A. An organization’s goals is the big picture that spell out what the organizations will look like in the short-term and long-term. However there are several factors that is very essential and critical in determining organization’s goals. Internal and external factors: 1. Financial Resources, 2. Human Capitals,
” Operations of the business it components and functions
Expected revenues and expenses
Describes the industry you are entering.
How your product will be different.
How you qualify to run the business.
How you finance the service as mentioned above financing.

How would you decide which strategic and operational plans to use to achieve your goals?
Strategic plan: is used to outline the organization’s objectives and to identify the methods in which those objective can be achieved. this focus on the mission and the vision of the organization for the next 1-5 years which is the long-term goals of the organization and how to measure the goals and what project will be carried out to achieve them. this is usually take on by the top managers.
Operational plan: is the effective way in which all the available resources can be used to accomplish organizations goals which usually a short-term goals kind of focus on a daily how the organization will get to the long term goals which is take on by the line manager for about 1-52 weeks

I work in a social service setting and I personally working on setting up a nonprofit organization so will say Tactical plans which runs the execution of the strategic plan which is also a short-term goal of about 6-24 month which will help us to on making a different right now, making sure we always focus on solving the most important problems. we expect everyone on our team to focus on what the family we are working with need and what the biggest problems we need to work on with the families we will be serving.
