I need an explanation for this Management question to help me study.
The sourcing plan should include a comprehensive SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats) analysis, traditionally used to guide plan implementers toward defining objectives. A SWOT analysis helps identify potential roadblocks (weaknesses and threats) and prepares the way for dealing with them through organizational strengths. It can also identify potential opportunities that help to implement the plan strategy. In the strategic sourcing plan, it is important to identify roadblock conditions since they invariably affect meeting key objectives.
Now that you understand this material, create a SWOT analysis for your sourcing plan. Use the previous elements to help you. Remember, think broad as well as looking at specifics regarding global sourcing. Also, make sure you review internal and external issues and characteristics. Lastly, review previous elements to help gain more insight.
Your write up should 2-3 pages and in APA format (Title page isn’t needed. References should be added if necessary). Make sure that you create an actual diagram of your SWOT analysis. There are different formats that exist. You are encourage to use any type of format you desire.Mathematical Modeling Homework
I’m working on a Mathematics exercise and need support.
1. Below is a table of the heights of a rocket over time: (a) Create a scatter plot of the data (you do not need to turn in anything for this part). (b) By looking at first or second differences, indicate whether the graph is likely to be linear. (c) By looking at first or second differences, indicate whether the graph is likely to be quadratic. (d) Find a quadratic regression for the above data; list your equation with all coefficients up to two decimal places. (e) Using your answer to the previous part, estimate when the rocket hits the ground again. 1 2. The following table gives the average yearly car insurance rates for varying ages. (a) Create a scatter plot of the data (you do not need to turn in anything for this part). (b) Find a quadratic regression for the above data; list your equation with all coefficients up to two decimal places. (c) Using your answer to the previous part, estimate to the nearest year the age for which insurance rates hit their minimum (some error will be introduced in this step; so do your best to be accurate). 2 3. Enraged about the results of their first test, a student tosses their calculator off a 2 mile high cliff. Suppose that it hits the ground in 1 minute; it is tossed from a height of 2 miles; and in half a minute, it is at a height of 5/4 or 1.25 miles. (a) Assume that the height of the calculator as a function of time is modeled by a quadratic equation, i.e. an equation of the form: h(t) = at2 + bt + c Using the information in the problem, set up (but do not solve) a system of equations which will allow us to solve for a, b and c. (b) Using the previous part, find the function h(t) which models height as a function of time (your answer should be a quadratic equation!)Institutionalized Sexism: nursing homework help
I don’t know how to handle this Sociology question and need guidance.
This assignment, Project 3, addresses course outcomes 3 and 6. This assignment will require you to think about gender, sexuality and social institutions. You will apply a social theory to discuss how sexism and heterosexism are embedded in social institutions. You will evaluate how inequality is created and maintained by social institutions. You will be asked to think carefully about current policies in place to prevent discrimination and bias against women and against members of marginalized sexual and gender orientations. You will be asked to make suggestions on how these policies could be improved.
For this activity, you will identify one area where sexism or heterosexism is evident in one of the social institutions. You will find a current event article from a local, national or international news source that details an institutional act of sexism or heterosexism. This might include laws that allow women or the LGBTQA community to be treated unfairly, reports on differences in pay or hiring practices, publicized violations of Title IX, or any other act that appears biased that is committed by an institution. For example, several years ago, the Boy Scouts of America (an institutionalized group) came under fire for refusing to allow gay men to serve as troop leaders. This is an example of heterosexist bias. Recently, the Pope made a statement that women were allowed to nurse their infants in any Catholic church during Mass due to some parishes banning public nursing. Banning public nursing is an act of gender bias. Be sure that you are discussing an institutional act and not an individual act of bias. You will describe the event that you have chosen. You will then apply key sociological concepts and theories to your discussion of this event. You will apply a social theory to explain why this institutional practice exists. The theory you pick will be the one that best fits your world view (structural functionalism, Conflict, Symbolic Interaction, Feminist or Queer Theory). You will discuss the positive (social stability) and negative (social dysfunction) consequences of this practice. Your discussion will focus on the structure of society and not on the individual. You will support your arguments with appropriate outside sources as needed.
Before beginning this project, please be sure you have thoroughly read and reviewed all of the content in modules 4 and 5. Pay special attention to the terms and concepts from your reading material that help you understand the way that sociologists look at and make sense of gender and institutional development in society.
Next, select a current event from a local or national news source that discusses a sexist or heterosexist act.
Then, please write a 500 – 750 word essay (at least 2 to 3 pages of double-spaced, 12-point font of text) addressing the following question prompts. A references list should make up an additional page.
Briefly summarize the article that you have selected. Provide the specifics of the act and which social institution is engaged in the act. Provide a theoretical explanation for why the act occurred. This must be a structural explanation that focuses on the institution. Use the theory that best fits your understanding of the act. Discuss how this act was managed. For example, if it was illegal, what were the legal sanctions against the institution? If not illegal, what was the public response? Suggest policy changes that would prevent future occurrences of this act.
Your essay will be evaluated in terms of how thoroughly you: answer the questions above; use resources to document your main points; and properly cite referenced work. Your essay should address all of the questions above and should consist of 500-750 words (at least 2 to 3 pages of double-spaced, 12-point font of text). Citations and a references list will likely make up an additional page.
To successfully complete Project 3, you will need to organize your responses to the questions and then craft a formatted essay that includes each of the following:
A title page; Well-developed introductory paragraph explaining the purpose of the essay and briefly referencing some of the main points/contentions offered in the essay; The body of the essay should consist of your effort to best answer the primary questions from the assignment prompt and should consist of 500-750 words (at least 2 to 3 pages of double-spaced, 12-point font of text). Though the method by which this is done is largely up to you, it is essential that the responses to the questions in the prompt be based upon scholarly readings and should remain at all times defensible (in an academic sense). You have a great deal of information to draw from in creating your essay, including the assigned readings and hyperlinked sources in the module notes. As is the case with every assignment in SOC101, presenting any unsubstantiated, illogical, or indefensible position will have an adverse effect on the final grade. Please direct any questions regarding these expectations to the instructor; A concise concluding paragraph that briefly restates both the purpose of the essay as well as some of the primary argument offered by you, the essay’s author. Be sure the concluding paragraph does not introduce new information; A list of all sources consulted the preparation of the essay. The essay should be formatted according to APA-style documentation (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site.. I’m studying for my Statistics class and need an explanation.
There are numerous variables that are believed to be predictors of housing prices, including living area (square feet), number of bedrooms, and number of bathrooms. The data in the Case Study No. 2.xlsx file pertains to a random sample of houses located in a particular geographic area.
Develop the following simple linear regression models to predict the sale price of a house based upon a 90% level of confidence.Write the regression equation for each model.
Sale price based upon square feet of living area. Sale price based upon number of bedrooms. Sale price based upon number of bathrooms.
Develop the following multiple linear regression models to predict the sale price of a house based upon a 90% level of confidence.Write the regression equation for each model.
Sale price based upon square feet of living area and number of bedrooms. Sale price based upon square feet of living area and number of bathrooms. Sale price based upon number of bedrooms and number of bathrooms. Sale price based upon square feet of living area, number of bedrooms, and number of bathrooms.
Discuss the joint statistical significance of each of the preceding simple and multiple linear regression models at a 90% level of confidence and 95% level of confidence. Discuss the individual statistical significance of the coefficient for each independent variable for each of the preceding simple and multiple linear regression models at a 90% level of confidence and 95% level of confidence. Compare any of the preceding simple and multiple linear regression models that were found to be jointly and individually statistically significant at a 90% level of confidence and select the preferred regression model. Explain your selection using the appropriate regression statistics. Interpret the coefficient for each independent variable (or variables) associated with your selected preferred regression model. Using the preferred regression model, predict the sale price of a house with the following values for the independent variables: 3,000 square feet of living area, 3 bedrooms, and 2.5 bathrooms.(Hint: You should only use the values for those independent variables that are specifically associated with your selected preferred regression model.)
Prepare a single Microsoft Excel file using a separate worksheet for each question
You will be expected to:
perform certain calculations discussed in the assigned reading in order to derive an answer for each problem. use Microsoft Excel to complete each problem and submit a single Excel spreadsheet that contains a separate worksheet (i.e., separate tab) for each problem. have each worksheet be clearly labeled to identify the associated problem.to show all calculations or other work performed to derive your answer(s) for each problem. have your spreadsheet be fully functional (i.e., configured to allow the reader to not only see all numerical values but also be able to see the underlying formula associated with each calculated value). to label your work in each worksheet to clearly identify the nature of each piece of data or calculated value.
