Research Log Setup

Question Description

Your first small task for this week is to set up a research log. You will begin with two entries based on the research question you wrote last week and the Database Search Strategies assignment this week. We will be using these logs throughout the course.

You can use my template document or create one from scratch, so long as it includes all the same parts and is formatted clearly, in a way I can easily read and see your sources at a glance.

What is the purpose of the research log?

The purpose of keeping a log is to keep track of all the sources you find. This can help you for all your research projects. In this class, you will enter source information for every activity you complete, and the final log will be due at the end of Week 7. Also, you should take careful notes and write a mini-evaluation of each source as part of the log. Those notes will help you write the annotations for your annotated bibliography (final project) during the last couple weeks of class.
