The first four questions below are the global/intercultural learning objectives and trait for the course. At the end of the course, you will be writing a short paper on the global/intercultural objectives and traits, so this discussion will help you practice to identify key issues for that paper. The next question deals with key auditing issues in the case. After reading the case in the title for this discussion, address the five required areas below in your initial post for your group discussion. After your initial comments related to the topics, subsequent posts should respond to other team member posts and add new thoughts or insights. Five Required Areas to Address in Initial Post
1. Analyze and evaluate global or intercultural issues of the culture in the country.
2. Discuss stereotypical cultural conceptions and describe the complexity and variety of different cultural groups in the country.
3. Evaluate how your own cultural rules and biases compare and contrast with those from the culture in the country.
4. Discuss how you would interrelate respectfully with individuals representing cultures and perspectives in the country.
5. Discuss the key audit issues of the case.
Required of All Team Members:
Since this is intended to be a discussion, to receive full credit, a team member must:
Make your meaningful initial comments post addressing the five required areas for this discussion by the Thursday “due” date. As you address each of the five required areas, number your comments to correspond with the five required areas.
Contribute to the discussion at least three meaningful response posts responding to other student comments by the following Tuesday’s “until” date.
Be professional in making posts, use proper English, and be supportive of other team members.
Each team member’s contribution to the discussion will be graded separately using the Global Case Discussion Rubric.
