The appeal must be submitted and approved prior to the student’s subsequent enrollment in any future classes. Additionally, the written appeal must include a reasonable explanation for the student’s academic performance to date, which may include mitigating circumstances such as: student injury/illness, death of a student’s family member, or other reasons resulting in undue hardship to the student. Finally, the appeal must include a plan for completion of the coursework required to meet SAP requirements during the following SAP increment.
