Prompt: What, in Machiavelli’s view, are the most important features of a free state if it is to succeed in securing and preserving liberty for its citizens?
– This essay needs to be 6 pages
– YOU CAN NOT USE OUTSIDE SOURCES, ONLY THE SOURCES I WILL BE GIVING YOU.
Every quote needs to be AT LEAST 2 LINES, MAXIMUM of 4 LINES. I will need 14 quotes throughout the paper
– 8 quotes need to be from Discources on Livy
– 2 quotes need to be from Quentin Skinner
– 4 quotes from the powerpoint slides.
You can’t just go into the quote blindly, I will need you to write for example: In Discources, Machiavelli writes, “(quote)” If you are a tutor that can’t do such a simple thing, then you shouldn’t be writing essays. For each quote I want the citation at the end to follow these insturctions (author’s full name, article name, page number). I want this to be in paranthesis after each quote, do not use chicacgo because I will be transferring it to a different writing service and the footnotes wont transfer with it.
I will need the thesis statement to be structured and organized. Example:
In Machiavelli’s views, the most vital features of a free state if it were to successed in securing and preserving liberty for its citizens are (reason 1),(reason 2), (reason 3), and (reason 4). Do not put bullshit reasons, I will realize as I’m very knowedlgable in this topic. I will know if you didnt do your job and read the article and such. I will just get a refund and you will have wasted both of our time.
There will be one intro paragraph, four body paragraphs (for the four reasons) and 1 conclusion paragraph. Each paragraph should be a little over a page long. I will need a bibliography attached to the end aswell.
The intro paragraph should not be a backstory on Machiavelli, My professor doesn’t want to hear about machiavellis early childhood and all that bullshit, be straightforward and only write about things that address to the prompt, ie. summary of discourses on livy. The end of the intro paragraph should have the 1-2 sentence thesis.
The four body paragraphs should have at least 3 quotations each. There should be an intro sentence with a transition word like first, second, third, addiitonally, moreover, etc. Each quote should not be written blindly, (look above for example or refresher). After each quote there shouldbe a strong 2-3 sentence analaysis. Each paragraph should end with a strong conlcuison and a smooth transition to the next paragraph.
The conlcuison paragraph should restate the thesis and concldue all points made in the essay.
I need the paper to be double spaced in 12 point times new roman font.
Please highlight the thesis when you send me the final document. I want the final document in pdf form.
