Project Idea to address the community need: I would like to put together a free educational program in all health facilities to educate the people of Pickens on a healthier lifestyle, such as exercise programs, and nutrition. This assessment is for people who have been diagnosed with diabetes It will provide annual assessments or check-up for either Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, focusing on key risk factors for the development of complications. Patients can be newly diagnosed or have had diabetes for many years.
