I need support with this English question so I can learn better.
After you have read and understood assignment instructions read here:
Make sure you follow all of the instructions for the format of these letters, I have attached the three think pieces to this assignment that must be read, there are three different letters you must write. Remember to treat the format LIKE A LETTER.
The writer’s names for the piece are Cassidy, Mickey, and Eric. So make sure to start off with Dear Cassidy, etc.
You will comment on three peers’ papers and write a letter to each of your three assigned peers to upload here. Each letter should be no less than 250 words. The letters will provide feedback to the peer about how to improve their Think Piece. You will consider what any reader would consider. Things such as if you can follow the writer’s thinking, whether the piece is interesting, whether you found the essay interesting, whether the structure felt logical and easy to follow, any issues that you would normally consider when reading an essay.
But on top of that you will look at the piece based on what you’ve learned this semester, and what you know from writing your own TPs.
First, read your peer’s paper and comment throughout with the comment tools and pointers that I’ve used when responding to your TPs
Second, look again at your peer’s paper carefully, takes notes about issues, places you have questions, sentences you stumble on or have to re-read. Again, insert questions, highlight in some way the places your stumbled or got lost.
Third, write a letter for each of your peers either in a separate document and upload it as an attachment.
Here are the steps to follow to write that letter:
Write a brief paragraph first that gives your initial, general reactions of the paper. You can give some praise, but also a critical initial reaction. You are trying to help your peer improve. Just saying that the paper is “good” is not helpful. Now consider the notes you took, and the places where you commented. What THREE writerly issues can your peer work on. In other words, did you mostly comment on feeling lost? Suggest concrete ways your peer could help the reader follow, a stronger and earlier thesis or purpose statement, places to develop, questions to answer, better ways to organize the paragraphs. If you mostly commented on structure? Suggest transitions and metadiscourse to add, ways to help the reader move from idea to idea. Did you mostly comment on the tone of the paper? Suggest real ways that the peer might reword areas for clarity, ways to take out a too-stuffy or too-casual tone. Did you comment a lot on clarity? Point out the moments that didn’t make sense, suggest ways to reword, suggest things like “what I think you meant is…” Did you comment mostly on details? Suggest places where the peer could provide more description, areas where you needed more explanation, places you wrote “Huh?” For each of those issues that you believe need improvement, write a fully developed paragraph with real, usable ways for your peer to revise and improve.
Hint: For EVERY criticism or point that you make, provide an example or point to a specific area in the essay that illustrates your criticism.
Hint: For EVERY criticism and illustration, provide a concrete and specific way to improve. That might be rewriting a sentence or two, rewriting the thesis, suggesting paragraphs that might be moved around, and writing some transitional or topic sentences for your peer.
Write a nice concluding paragraph that sums up your criticisms and gives your peer some sort of motivational push to improve. Read over your letter and look for errors and places that could be clarified. Read over your letter again and consider that if YOU received this letter you would know exact ways to improve your essay.

Assignment Details
The challenge of terrorism against the United States has led the U.S. government to create the Department of Homeland Security with the hope of leveraging federal, state, and local police agencies as well as intelligence and immigration agencies to cooperate in communicating findings and creating joint efforts to stop threats of terrorism or confront a terrorist attack.
The current threat of terrorism has made many senators and representatives in the U.S. Congress think about combining all of the police agencies in the United States into one national police organization. The centralization of power would stop the discombobulated nature of the three government levels of police and provide a clear, overall standard on how to police not only terrorist acts but also crime in general.
Answer the questions below in 3–4 pages in APA format. Give your opinion concerning the topics, and provide examples. Discuss your findings regarding any statistics about the victims that you list. Discuss your thoughts about what options might be taken regarding victims of racial profiling. Be sure to back up your opinions with facts from cited sources.
Do you believe that labeling terrorism as a crime that can be committed domestically has changed policing? How? Why? Provide examples. Have the number of victims of racial profiling increased over the last decade? What laws and services are available for victims of racial profiling? What other actions might be taken on behalf of victims of racial profiling? Has the Department of Homeland Security helped fight terrorism, or has it simply duplicated the efforts and jurisdictions of other agencies? How has it helped?
