This
assignment is the same as the Tolerance for Ambiguity Profile Analysis except
that you have 4 dimensions rather than 3. So do it again keeping in mind what
went well and the feedback on what to do better. Keep in mind that how white
space and headings can provide a clean organization and presentation. Again,
the easier the paper is to read, the more likely the higher score it will
receive.
Analyze each of the four dimensions one by one (e.g., first
Competitive, then work involvement, then…..) using the prompts below. The paper itself should be 4 pages (+/- 1 page). The paper shall
be 12 point font (preferably Times Roman), well proofread, and
organized. Again, the paper will be single space (can use bullet
points in appropriate places), block format and I strongly advice the use of
formatting, white space, and headings to enhance the paper’s focus and
flow. One item I am recommending is to think of being able to comfortably
hold your breath (normal standards not for someone able to swim a poll length
underwater in one breath during the time it takes to read a single
paragraph.
Remember the earlier advice to write the
paper in sections (e.g., one part at a time) so you are not rushed or
overwhelmed. This will give you plenty of time to
conduct a deep, thorough analysis.
Analyze
each of the four dimensions (do the first three steps for each dimension, then
go to Step 4):

1) Report your score and what it means. Do not define the
dimension in its entirety, just interpret the meaning of your specific score
and state whether you agree or disagree with the assessment. (should take 2 – 3
sentences each)

State whether you agree or disagree with the assessment (1 – 2 sentences).

Provide a specific personal example to support your agreement or
disagreement. This should NOT be a simple restating of the definition or
a generic comment reflecting the general definition. It needs to tell a
who, what, how story. (should take about a 1/3 page each)
Learnings
4) Select two of the four dimensions. For each dimension,
provide an example of a new behavior and/or way of thinking (for each
dimension) that resulted from what you learned through this analysis.
Describe how you will implement them moving forward. These need to be specific
actionable items, not generic “I need to try new things” type
responses. (should take about 1/2 – 2/3 page for each learning)

attach your original completed survey to the back. You can create a new
page before the questions start and then type your analysis into the document
itself.
6)
upload your paper into Canvas (link should be to the upper right here). Your paper must be a .doc or .pdf
file as Canvas does not open Apple (pages) documents.
