PaaS or platform as a service is a cloud computing model that provides
clientele with a complete cloud platform when it comes to PaaS and how
it can affect staffing changes organizations have a good sense to worry
because when PaaS model is implemented into an organization it impacts a
teach or staffing by resulting is a major shift in roles and
responsibilities amongst the staff. After this happens staff should see
an overall reduction of costs, complexity and an increase in staff
availability. PaaS makes an organizations job of managing those services
simples by outsourcing the roles to cloud providers. the roles and
responsibilities that would change post migration would be the staff who
where managing their services would be far more available to handle
other tasks since a vendor is now covering their prior responsibilities.
Security would not be a concern considering it would be the
responsibilities of the vendor the PaaS services manage.

The main perk that the organizations have from switching their major
system to the PaaS model is to provide convenient and simple use for its
customers. The cloud provider will take over most of the foundation and
any services from the I.T. department, this will grant a user access
from anywhere using a browser. This also means that the responsibility
of managing and maintenance that was previously done by the I.T.
department now belongs to the cloud provider. For an organization, this
could either be a great thing or a really bad thing. Good because this
can shift the focus of many major tasks to other simple technological
tasks within the I.T. department, and bad because this could potentially
mean the workload decreases and some employees could be laid off. As
for roles and responsibilities getting shift around, the users will now
have to adjust their roles. This also means that the training to learn
about the new software is going to be implemented. .
