The business intends to rent or lease a property in Brighton and Hove, with office space for up to 10 staff and a meeting room for clients. The plan should include capital (non-current asset) purchases including computing equipment.
Part 1 Finance Plan
Produce a detailed financial plan for your law firm from January to December 2019. Use the report background (see page 1) as your guide to the key tasks to include. In addition to a obtaining a bank loan, from April 2018 you need to pitch your idea to a panel of investors to obtain equity investment to set and grow the business. Assume there will be a 50:50 split between equity and debt invested in the business.
High marks will be awarded for innovative client fee models, realistic sales targets, profit margins and overheads for a start-up law firm.
Part 2 Business Plan
Using the financial information provided in Part 1, write a report to support a loan application to be used in face to face meetings with high street banks.
