For this assignment, you will write a one-page press release for a real or made–up event or announcement. If you are volunteering for an organization, this is a great opportunity to create a press release for an upcoming event. You should review the sample press releases referenced in your textbook on pp. 85 & 86. Pay careful attention to the structure of your press releases and the succinct manner in which they are written. Try to avoid long, convoluted sentences.
Note: Follow the format on pp. 85 & 86 in your EWPS textbook to help you your press release.
