The 1980s and 1990s were a period in which globalization took a number of different forms. Discuss the ways in which technology and economic developments began to blur the borders of nation-states. Although many people saw these developments as decided advantages for society, in what ways did they also make businesses, governments, and individuals more vulnerable?
