You will use leadership theories as frameworks for your Selected Topic paper, and address the three levels of the system—the microsystem, mesosystem, and macrosystem.
The following objectives for this assignment are:
1. Identify and describe what experiences have shaped your leadership style, your philosophy towards leadership, and motivation behind your behavior. (2 pages)
a. What are your leadership strengths; what are your weaknesses?
b. How can you maximize your strengths? Workshop, mentoring, practice new transformational How can you minimize or remove your limitations?
c. What are your blind spots—opinions, stereotypes, and knee-jerk reactions that are difficult to acknowledge?
2. Identify and describe what combination of established leadership styles you would use—autocratic, democratic, laissez-faire, transformational, and transactional—when dealing with day-to-day operations at the three system levels. Provide examples and reference leadership theories as appropriate. (2 pages)

7. Title page, body of paper, and reference page must follow APA guidelines as found in the 6th edition of the manual. This includes the use of headings for each section or topic of the paper.
8. Ideas and information that come from readings must be cited and referenced correctly.
9. Rules of grammar, spelling, word usage, and punctuation are followed and consistent with formal written work as found in the 6th edition of the APA manual.
10. This paper is worth 250 total points and will be graded on quality of topic, quality of paper information, use of citations, grammar, and sentence structure.
My ideas
The writer leadership style included a combination of democratic and transformational.  Changes in healthcare, increase knowledge and role are factors that have changed leadership style.  In the past it was a direct democratic style occurred throughout the. However, with multiple changes in healthcare and the drive for customer services and patient satisfaction, a transition to adopting transformational leadership style occurred. The result has brought positive results happy leader, patient, and staff.  Validation of feeling and empathy two actions that have produced positive results daily.  Other factors that have to improve relationship and leadership include attitude, tone, and temperament as without speaking body language can be interpreted negatively and can affect leadership and employee relations Zahra, Shayesteh,  & Marzieh Adel, (2016).
However,  there are times leadership styles are situational in cases of emergency authoritarian style is used to give a directive and delegate duties. After these duties are complete it is important to return to transformational leadership and acknowledge the hard work team members provided during the emergency which is usually appreciated by team members.
It is a different age for DNP-prepared leadership—what strategies would you use to reawaken the passion for practice to create change at the macrosystem, mesosystem, or microsystem level?
Strategies that the writer will consider to reawakening the passion for practice to create change at every system level will include. Improve communications as it allows an open link to identifying the needs of the employee at each level communication will be empathetic with encouragement for team members to voice their needs and concerns while feeling comfortable to make suggestions or recommendations for problem-solving within the department.  Recommendations provided can be used to improve quality of patient care. Additionally, reinforcement that as a leader the writer is always empathetic always open to listen and giving positive feedback to any concerns raised. Awareness of what is required in the department at the level of functioning micro, meso or macro to encourage self-driven skill while being emotionally intelligent to every person encountered. An understanding of the vision of the organization and following while ensuring to respect equal opportunity rights without biased toward, sexual orientation, generation, disability, age, race or religion. As in most organization difference stimulate awareness and understanding while a display of support will be observed.
