Assignment 1-Trends research
Part 1
Utilizing WGSN research, analyze and write the three trends for S23, use 400 words for each, in an MLA format. Each trend theme should include the trend mood, colors, fabrics, trims, silhouettes, and inspirations for the theme.
The trends are: Design-Wise, Soul Space, and Full Spectrum. Also, use current fashion magazines from the library or your collection. You may also research the Internet; however, add a work cited.
Part 2
Represent each trend using images. Create four small boards for each trend: women’s wear, menswear, inspiration, and interior design. Use for each trend four images for women (complete look), 4 for men (complete look), 4 for home (bedroom, dining, bathroom, living, kitchen, the home exterior) 4 inspiration images.
Format and placement are at your discretion. Each trend theme must contain some color palette. You are to choose the colors needed for each theme and within its section (colors in women and men are not all represented in the home section).
Be creative in your design layout and aesthetics. Do not alter the proportions, size integrity of the images because this may change the representation of the trend.
