You have been appointed by Juliet Waldron on behalf of the board, as the founding director of WRSX-South Asia Division to be based in India.  You have been tasked to prepare your strategic managerial analysis of the business prospects in India and how WRSX should address the challenges ahead.  
This assignment is an opportunity for you to apply your knowledge primarily of topics (theories, concepts, models, frameworks and analytical tools) and secondarily, of topics covered in various foundation and personal edge units. You will draw on this stock of knowledge as you engage in the systematic analysis of WRSX’s expansion to South Asia in general and India, in particular, being the largest country in that region of the world.

If you cite any reference, the reference list is NOT counted in the maximum number of words.  You are free to attach appendices (not included in the word count) to support your report. The focus of this section is to highlight some key institution-based factors or conditions that will have significant impact on the competitive position of WRSX should it decide to venture in the Indian market. You will find the World Bank’s Doing Business Reports and Hofstede’s cultural framework helpful in this part of your analysis. You may want to focus on 1-2 types of IB risks to organise your analysis.
