Instructions: This project consists of creating and presenting your personal bra

    Instructions:
This project consists of creating and presenting your personal brand by making a creative personal Brand “Me!” Poster that visually conveys your personal message and that portrays who you are. There are 4 steps to this project:
Begin with reviewing your answers to Homework 4 and think about how you might use your answers to those questions posed by Tom Peters & me for the basic content of your personal Brand and to identify those aspects of you that you want to convey through your poster. Think about and explore ways you can visually present these aspects of your character on a poster using images, symbols etc. Do your best to avoid using words unless absolutely necessary, and if you need to use words try to stick with single words or catchphrases rather than using an entire sentence or more. Try to use as few words as possible. Your final project score will reflect this. The more words you use the lower your score will be.
Look at the example Brand “Me!” posters that upload for inspiration and ideas for your own poster
Create your poster (i.e. sell your brand and deliver your message). This is an opportunity for you to be as artistic, creative, expressive, and original as you desire. You will also want to spend time considering how you will design your image/poster’s overall organization and look as the entire project will be reflective of you, your passions, values & ideals, (work) ethics, and so forth and working with a poster as the medium you will find you are somewhat more limited. While your Brand “Me!” image/poster might resemble aspects of your profile on common social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter etc.), I DO NOT want to see a screen shot of your social media profile (i.e. your Facebook profile etc.) submitted as your project. I want you to submit an original poster. Keep in mind that images are more powerful and more important than words for our purpose here, and a good Brand “Me!” poster will use more images than words to convey your message.
Before you start your poster think about your target audience, the general public. Think of conveying your message beyond your friends & family, but to your class peers, your employer, teachers, and especially to complete strangers, the people who will only ever know you through the image you present in your poster. In other words, pretend that your audience is the public, and this is your opportunity to tell people who you are (or at least who you want them to think you are!).
    * Please note that I will never display your poster to the public. Your poster will be presented only to your class peers and only displayed through our Blackboard class page for the purpose of the Cultural Geography Discussion Forum.
    Poster Specifications
While you are not required to spend a fortune on this assignment, you are expected to put some time, effort, and thought into designing and creating your poster. There are two options for constructing your poster:
First option is for you to create a physical poster using paper posterboard (minimum 2’x3’ and maximum 3’x3’). The advantage here is that you can draw freehand, tape/glue things to the poster, or attach multi-dimensional forms (buttons, ribbons etc.) to your poster. The downside to this option is that you will need to acquire/provide the poster paperboard and all materials. If you choose this method you will also be required to take a good quality digital photo of your poster to submit it as your final project. Make sure your Last Name is part of the file name.
Second option is for you to create a digital poster using computer software or applications, such as PowerPoint, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or other suitable platforms that you may be comfortable using. Digital posters should be a minimum of 11”x14” in size (horizontal or vertical). Your poster should be limited to 1 slide or page. If you choose this method you will also be required to ensure that you can convert & submit its as a PDF as your final project. Make sure your Last Name is part of the file name.
