In this assignment. You need to do is to write a one-page long, double-spaced executive summary for this research paper. And also on Page 7, there is some unfinished work, you need to research how other college coffee shops deal with the three issues and complete the last paragraph on the analysis part. (page 7 in the team paper draft)
Requirement as follows:
An executive summary is a concise overview of what you did, what you found, what you
recommend, and/or what lessons are learned.
It should not exceed one page in length.
An
executive summary should function as a “stand-alone” document: it should be intelligible to
the reader without his or her having to read the rest of the report, and it should convey the
most important points you have to make – what is your research question?
Devices that
enhance the readability of executive summaries include bullet points, headings, and
(judicious) underlining or boldface for keywords.
Many people prefer to write the summary
last. This has the virtue of capturing the paper as it is after it has stopped evolving. It raises
the risk, however, that the very first page the reader sees is the one written in the greatest
haste and weariness. Plan accordingly.
I have attached a draft version of the team paper. There is a research question listed, three main problems pointed out, bullet points for each main problem, and there is a general recommendation. You will have to read them carefully and summarize what I did, What I found (problems), what recommendations, and what lessons learned. Can not be directly copied from the main text!!!!All these in one page!!
As for page 7, just try your best to see if there other college coffee shops other than Starbucks are dealing with the three issues listed in the doc. If you can not find any, just add on to the current research on how Starbucks solve equity problem, tips. etc.
And finish the last paragraph on page 7 which act as a conclusion for the analysis part!
