IF PDF FILE IS NOT AVAILABLE LET ME KNOW.
Review the Think About It section on p.242 of the textbook regarding men’s sexual desire, as well as the preview of the book on Amazon. The preview is short and will give some stories to illustrate the points from the book. Find the preview on Amazon here

Once you’ve read the content, answer the following questions:
1. What’s the problem with basing conclusions about “men’s sexuality” on samples of men 18-25 years old?
2. Imagine yourself a sex therapist. 35-year old Bob comes to you with low sexual desire. He tells you of an exhausting life; he and his wife have high-pressure jobs, three young children, and an elderly, ailing dog about whom he clearly is deeply worried. At the end, he says, “What’s wrong with me, Doc?” Answer his question, with specific reference to Sarah Murray’s work. Describe at least two reasons why his desire is low.
3. A quick DuckDuckGo web search of “testosterone supplement” turned up 79 PAGES of links, mostly trying to sell supplements or “review” supplements. Consider someone who has the “typical” beliefs about men’s sexuality. How do sales of these supplements exploit the mythology of male sexuality?
4. Bob (from #2 above) wants you to prescribe testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for him. Write what you’d tell him.

on the risks of testosterone replacement.
