Learning Goal: I’m working on a supply chain question and need guidance to help me learn.I already have the suppliers and criteriaThe criteria are Financial health Customer service corporate social responsibility suppliers areAMDIntelSamsungCorsairPNYDevelop a supplier-selection scorecard. Use your strategic context as a guide to help you identify the criteria you will use to compare, and ultimately, select a supplier. Design a spreadsheet that employs multiple-criteria comparison logic. Using a spreadsheet will allow you to perform a sensitivity analysis and answer senior-management’s questions regarding the robustness of your decision. The criteria included in your scorecard must be objectively or systematically measured. For example, if your criteria were to include customer service, sustainability, on-time delivery, value, or innovativeness, you must specifically describe how each criterion would be measured. Descriptions/definitions for each criterion must be included in your write-up for Part 3.Your scorecard must employ a minimum of five criteria. You may use more if what you learned in the previous two phases—scenario development and category analysis—indicates that you should. You may select four of the five criteria. However, you must include financial viability as one of your criteria, to include what you consider to be the most important financial metrics (minimum of 5 financial metrics). Assuring that your new supplier is financially viable will help mitigate future risk. Further, you can learn a lot about a company when you carefully evaluate and screen its financial statements. Financial information is widely available and relatively easy to find. Each criterion should include a minimum of two sub-criteria (five for financial viability).Be very thoughtful in applying the weights to each criteria, applying higher level of weight to those criteria that are most important to your company. The scorecard submitted for Part 3 should include formulas that will compute the suppliers’ scores when entered in Part 4 for each supplier that will be analyzed in Part 4.[1] There must be a summary page including scores for each criteria for each supplier, including totals for each supplier. Finally, in preparation for the next step in the process—individual supplier evaluation—identify the suppliers that you will investigate more fully. You should identify one supplier per team member and indicate who will do the analysis for each of these finalists. Selection of the specific suppliers to be evaluated in part 4, and assignment of team members to each supplier is due in Part 3.For this deliverable, please consolidate parts 1, 2, and 3. If needed, I expect that you will have edited parts 1 & 2 based on my previous feedback. The deliverable should include a printout of your final multi-criterion comparison spreadsheet. Be sure to clearly identify your criteria complete with sub-criteria. include the associated weight for each criterion. Identify your final candidates and indicate who is responsible for the analysis of each supplier.[1] You are not expected to actually enter the scores for your suppliers in Part 3. The supplier evaluation and completed scorecard are required in Parts 4 & 5. The Part 3 deliverable is the scorecard including the formulas that will eventually compute the suppliers’ scores after you have entered them in Parts 4 & 5.
