I don’t know how to handle this History question and need guidance.
In the 1960s many different American groups were fighting for change. The African American Civil Rights Movement, American Indians and women were all fighting for their rights. Even though all of these groups were fighting for their rights and to be respected, they were fighting for different reasons. The African Americans were fighting to be seen as equals and not the “inferior race”, they wanted to change the discriminatory laws that were placed against them and obtain some form of representation in the government system. American Indians were also discriminated against and fought for their representation in America. Women in America in the 1960s fought for their rights, they wanted to be viewed as capable of doing things, such as working, voting, and having a role in the government. The women in this time wanted to be viewed as more than housewives or maids and to be able to fulfill their freedom as American citizens. As all of these groups were fighting against discrimination, they each had different reasons leading up to their fight for change.
there was many different groups that had their own different types of struggles due to what group of Americans that they were involved in at the time. there were the people that was considered to be or was involved in the slavery group which probably got the most struggles piled onto them because they were the lower class or was considered to be from my point of view. the teens was also a group that struggled a lot too and thats probably because they were in a group that couldn’t really take care of themselves till they were at age of doing so. this was also the group that gained and had the most change happen to them during their life because of their age and how often it changed with them. violence was a big thing that happened to both groups too mainly because they were different and they were singled out from everyone else.Bacon’s Rebellion and Land Policy
