Final Assessment – Collection Plan
Please read linked articles on the West Fertilizer Company Explosion on April 17, 2013.
After reading, please complete a Collection Plan! This is a paper, 10 pages in length (not counting bibliography/cover page) should include visualizations, such as images of the area surrounding the West Fertilizer company and any other relevant geospatial data. You can pull these visualizations from the sources we’ve discussed during the course or other web-based GIS services. Please note that it is not necessary to purchase any data to complete this assignment. Relevant references are included as an attachment in the supporting materials below.

Utilizing the Geospatial Intelligence Preparation of the Environmental Methodology:
Define the Environment
Describe Environments Influences
Evaluate Threats/Hazards
Develop Analytic Conclusions
Please make sure your plan addresses the following areas above and the additional areas listed below, as applicable:
Types of sensors that would help in decision-making
Types of sensors that would aid in assessing damages
Types of sensors that would manage search and rescue operations
Type of sensors that could be utilized to address any other relevant issues (spectral analysis, environmental clean-up studies, or real estate (cadastral analysis)).
Please explain the utility of the various sensors and how they contribute (address any areas where the synergistic use of the sensors provides additional information that one would not have provided alone).
