TED Talk

There is an old saying that say “Human built many walls , but there were not enough bridges” this saying is correct if we look at the history of the 20th century and the 10th century humanity faced the biggest wars against human civilization, especially the Middle East. I faced cultural boundaries when I went to Turkey in 2014. Turkey is located near Iraq. We share the same culture and many traditions, but the Turkish people have always considered us as strangers. This type of boundary is difficult from educational barriers because it prevents communication between each other. With time I can make Turkish friends when I start learning Turkish which helps me even work as a translator in a company there. In every society in the world there is one story that builds wrong ideas, but the situation always breaks these views and helps to change them. Strong state concepts are a good thing if it is based on mutual respect for each country. Staying within culture borders leads to ignorance and in some cases turns into xenophobia, and I consider this to be true through my experience when I moved to Turkey, where Turkish people used to call me the foreigner and I suffered some racial discrimination. Regardless of the bad form of life there is a hope and there is something that you can succeed in according to Omer Saker “My First & Second Language” article, “I always intended to fix my language problem, plug the gaping hole, even without a clear idea how” (Saker 4). The world is in a state of constant development around the concept of peace and solidarity, all indictors of development and elimination of cultural boundaries. For the sake of cultural boundaries it is important to work on separating race, religion or social class, but not as a person, culture without borders is the first step that can be a small step that express the concept of culture with the social behavior that exists in society and that includes ideas that are through social education. Culture is the accumulation of values, customs, beliefs, and traditions that certain society holds, according to “The Revolutionary Power of Diverse Thought” TED talk by Elif Shafak “I think there’s more and more people all around the world today who have similarly mixed emotions about the lands they come from”. Culture unites society, culture without borders helps to get out of narrow definitions and to be part of the world, it helps to develop personality with the ability to accept all that is good for humans. The culture connection helps to see life better and share thoughts to each other, according to Lera Boroditsky | “How Language Shapes the Way We Think” TED talk, “we humans are able to transmit our ideas across vast reaches of space and time”. Work with each other and developing respect for each culture can fix this problem. humanity it has been in contact with evolution for thousands of years and is changing in different parts in life. It is a glimmer of hope that we are learning how culture is so important for shaping not only a certain civilization but also all life forms. The borders it is division, to mean that culture without a border can end this division and help everyone build a better culture.

culture borders express the existence of culture difference. culture borders are a characteristic of all modern and traditional human societies. Culture borders are of political origin. through these borders, authority is exercised as it is the borders between states. Cultural borders are a borderline that carrying with ethnic differences, like language and religion and traditions. Cultural borders can be shaped by community economy, which is a basis on education, proceeds, and profession. Also related to differences in language and differences in religion. If we aim to cross borders, if we want real adventures and real discoveries, then we need to cross borders into other cultures. We need to connect with others culture who view and experience the world in a different way or a different perspective. In all ways our succeed and progress depends on it. That is why the conversation about cultures as the topic it is very important.
