Go to the London Psychometric Laboratory website, located in this week’s Learning Resources. Read the different emotional intelligence facets and the questions in the TEIQue-SF instrument. Reflect on which facets of emotional intelligence you possess, and which facets you may still need to develop. Please note you will not need to take or submit this assessment. You simply need to review the questions and reflect on them.
Using the Walden library and/or the Internet, research strategies
that you could use to improve specific facets of emotional intelligence
that you feel you may still need to develop.
Based on what you learned this week about emotional intelligence and
in Week 5 about emotional labor, examine the relationship between
emotional intelligence and emotional labor. In addition, consider the
impact of both on individual, group, and organizational outcomes.

Briefly summarize what you think your strengths and limitations in
the area of emotional intelligence may be. Which facets of emotional
intelligence do you think you already possess, and which facets do you
still need to develop?
Explain how your strengths and limitations have affected your
performance and well-being in the workplace. Use specific examples to
support your explanation.
Propose at least two realistic strategies that you could use
to improve your emotional intelligence. Be sure to use scholarly sources
to support your response.
Finally, explain the relationship between emotional intelligence and
emotional labor. What are the implications of emotional intelligence
and emotional labor on organizational performance at the individual,
group, and organizational level?
