Gamuda Berhad is a publicly listed company founded by YBhg Dato’ Lin Yun Ling in 1976. The company  was listed on the main board of Bursa Malaysia on 1992. The core business of the company is engineering & construction, infrastructure concession and property development.

The operational model of Gamuda Berhad is largely based on build-operate-transfer (BOT), in which the company receives concession from private or public sector to finance, design and construct a facility as stated in a concession contract. With its huge expertise, Gamuda Berhad participated in the construction projects worldwide. The company ventured into 7 countries internationally which include Australia, Bahrain, India, Qatar, Singapore, Taiwan, and Vietnam. One of the most successful projects by Gamuda Berhad is the SMART project which won numerous awards and is the world’s first dual purpose tunnel being constructed. The company also involved in the national largest public infrastructure construction, which is the MRT project.
