For this virtual presentation, you will be the one finding, selecting and analyzing an artwork to illustrate a major concept articulated in the Civilizations series episodes 5 or 6. This assignment will help us to think not only about our ideas from modules, but also how art reflects the human experience.
This assignment is a bit different from your first presentation in that rather than designing an image, you’ll be researching and selecting an image of an artwork from one of the “virtual galleries” detailed below. The purpose of the presentation is to demonstrate understanding and fluency of key concepts by applying those concepts to class material and to new material that you find through research.
