Directions: The five items listed below should be addressed in at least one paragraph (6-8 sentences per item).

Item #1: CBS4 News conducted an investigation on police-citizen interactions entitled, “Police Station Intimidation” (link listed below). What argument (concern) is the news station making against the police and what is your response to the broadcast (include specific details as needed)? Item #2: As a follow up to question #1, log on to Google and perform a search under the terms “Mike Kirsch CBS4.” You will find a number of articles related to the aftermath of the news story. Pick one article and write a critical summary of the content. The first part of your paragraph should summarize the main points of the article (give the title and the author in your summary). The second part should contain your critical response (opinion) about the article.
Item #3: Mass demonstrations have taken place across the country in response to police brutality and the death of George Floyd; during one such protest in Kentucky, a non-violent protester was struck with a pellet bullet in the face when an officer fired in her direction as she was filming. Item #4: Yash Qaraah is a controversial web-radio host who has become popular on YouTube for his videos and blog talks which feature discussions about Satanism and blood sacrifice rituals in the entertainment industry. and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jgEOBvhE7E Then, write a response to the clips in which you discuss why you found the information credible or incredulous (unbelievable). Give the titles of the clips and refer to specific parts of the videos as you give your evaluation.
Item #5: As a follow up to question #4, listen to only the first part of the video entitled, “The Boule” (see link below); pay particular attention to when a female caller, Lorna, a nursing student, comes in at 13:24 when a heated exchange (which contains harsh language–discretion advised) takes place. After listening to the argument, which of the two did you find most convincing in the exchange (Qaraah or Lorna) and explain why? Refer to specific comments as you give your evaluation.
