Engl 1302 Final Exam
In our final exam, we will take an essay through the stages of pre-writing, writing, and revising, paying close attention to organization. Because this is an exam, we should not consult with classmates. Our responses should be our own and should not echo the response of others. While proctoring is not realistic for all classes, we will mimic the ethical approach espoused in the Texas A&M Code of Honor. Please read this code, replace its language with “Lone Star College,” “Falcon,” and gender-inclusive language, and then abide by it while taking the exam.
If uploading all stages of the writing process, do so in one document (.doc, .docx, or .rtf file type), and make certain the final draft appears first, beginning on page one.
Sudden death: Any essay written without clearly defined paragraph breaks will receive a grade of “0” on the exam.
As long as we use only the material named below, we should not need in-text citations or a References page, but we should include direct quotations from the article we choose, below.
Applying Classical Argument, Rogerian Argument, or the Toulmin Method, write an argument essay based on any one of the Week 15 assigned readings which applies the composition skills gained in English 1302. Apply the APA title page and an original title.
The Week 15 articles are:
